With its inherent benefits, Bamboo is Cost Effective, Tough and Durable, Termite Resistant and Allergy Free. Bamboo is clearly one of World's most significant natural building materials. Regeneration occurs in a little over 5 years, when you compare this to a growing circle of 70 years for some of our commercial Native Timber species we can clearly identify the benefits in utilising sustainable natural products.
These are three different types of Bamboo flooring:
- Strand Woven
- Vertical
- Horizontal
All types are available in both Natural and Coffee colour.
Strand Woven patented technology fuses bamboo into an extremely dense and hard material that has twice the indentation resistance of red oak. The patent manufacturing process of Strand Woven bamboo ensures low moisture levels and minimum contraction and expansion.
Bamboo is pre-coated with 6 coats of superior quality 5th generation surface coating system, providing a scratch-resistant barrier.
Bamboo flooring is designed to be laid over any level structurally sound sub-floor such as concrete slab, particle-board or plywood. Even old tiles or pre-existing timber floors. This flooring can be floated or glued to sub-floor.
